• Person considered by the investigator to be unwilling, unlikely or unable to comprehend or comply with the study protocol |
• Age <65 years |
• Previous/current traumatic head/brain injury, neurological or psychiatric conditions |
• Previous stroke |
• Unstable use of anti–depressant medication (<6 months) |
• Use of medication to treat anxiety |
• Current or recent (in the last 6 months) malignancy |
• Major liver, kidney, respiratory or gastrointestinal disease |
• Current cardiovascular disease or angina |
• Uncontrolled hypertension (>170/100) |
• Current smoker |
• Vegetarian (does not eat red meat, poultry or fish) |
• Actively undertaking weight loss program |
• Use of appetite suppressants or Orlistat (Xenical) |
• Age and education adjusted scores of <13 on the DemTect |
• Body mass >135 kg (limit on dual xray energy absorptiometry (DEXA) scanner) |
