Plasma Leucine Concentrations throughout the Clamp Study: Plasma leucine concentration was measured in the basal state and every ten minutes throughout the HEGC and HEAC studies. Leucine concentrations significantly decreased (p < 0.001) during the HEGC and significantly increased and maintained at the baseline level during HEAC (p = 0.95 for MHD, p = 0.73 for control subjects)
